AGM followed by Lecture, ‘Galkoff’s and the Secret Life of Pembroke Place’

Dr Liz Stewart, Lead Curator of Archaeology and the Historic Environment – Museum of Liverpool, explores the the characters and communities of a Pembroke Place – a Liverpool street with a rich and varied story. Pembroke Place was the focus of a National Lottery Heritage Fund-supported project 2016-2018 and there is an exhibition in the Museum of Liverpool about it featuring the tiled frontage from Galkoff’s Kosher butcher’s shop.
