Library

The Society’s reference library is housed at the Liverpool Record Office, and is available for consultation by members of the Society and the public.

Within the library there is a wide range of books and journals, built up over many years. There is a complete set of Transactions of the Society. There are also transactions of other historical societies – local, national and worldwide. Suggestions by members for additions to stock are welcome.

The contents of the library have been added to the Record Office catalogue  A Liverpool Library card is required for access to the contents of the library. Back copies of transactions of non-local societies are in closed access storage areas and advance notice of visits is required.
